Plenary Americas

On August 15, 2024, the I-10 Calcasieu River Public-Private Partnership Project ("the Project"), comprised of a consortium led by Plenary Americas reached a financial close worth US$1,333,000,000. The Project which achieved commercial close in January 2024, concerns the development, design, financing, construction, operation, maintenance and tolling of the new Calcasieu River Bridge ("the Bridge") in Louisiana, United States. The Bridge will replace the existing one which was built in the early 1950s, and according to the Federal Highway Administrations (FHWA), is functionally obsolete and structurally deficient. This modern infrastructure will dramatically increase capacity, enhance comfort and improve road safety.

Fasken advised the winning consortium comprised of Plenary Americas, Acciona SA and Sacyr, S.A. with a team led by Marc Lefler and Adam Lewinberg, and including Brian Kelsall, Ella Plotkin, Zackary Burashko and Madeleine MacLean (Articling Student).
