On October 17, 2024, it was announced that Squadra Ventures, a venture capital firm investing in early-stage cyber and national security companies, successfully closed a US$6 million seed extension financing round for Wyvern. The financing round also included participation from Accelerate Fund III, Uncork Capital, Y Combinator, the University of Alberta Innovation Fund, and Brent Perrot.
Wyvern, an innovative space data company based in Alberta, offers the highest-resolution commercial hyperspectral imagery of Earth currently available. The investment will enable Wyvern to expand its market presence both in the US and globally.
