On July 11, 2024, Altair Engineering Inc (“Altair”), a global computational intelligence company, acquired Metrics Design Automation Inc. (“Metrics”), by way of a definitive agreement.
As a result of the transaction, Altair acquires Metrics’ simulation as a service (SaaS) business model for semiconductor electronic functional simulation and design verification expanding their footprint in the electronic design automation industry.
