Fasken advised a provider of information technology services and hardware products regarding the export of their products containing controlled encryption technology. Fasken assisted the company in preparing voluntary disclosures about potential violations of Canada’s export control laws to government agencies, including the Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) and the Export Controls Operations Division of Global Affairs Canada (GAC).
