On March 31, 2025, Infini Resources Limited (ASX:I88) (Infini), an Australian mineral and exploration company, completed its acquisition of the Reynolds and Boulding Lake Uranium Projects located in Saskatchewan, Canada from U Energy Metals Limited, an Australian energy metals company. The consideration included cash and shares with a total value of approximately AUD$1.6 million, and an additional AUD$750,000 worth of performance rights which are subject to certain vesting conditions.
The acquisition strengthens Infini's presence in Canada and supports the company's strategy to develop a diversified uranium portfolio, particularly in the Athabasca Basin, a region renowned for its uranium deposits.
Johanna Fipke from Fasken’s Global Mining Group acted as Canadian counsel to Infini in the acquisition.
