MIJO Corporation

On April 1, 2011, DG FastChannel, Inc. acquired the business of MIJO Corporation in a transaction valued at approximately $40 million. MIJO provides top US and multinational brands with a platform of bilingual and integrated media services targeted to the advertising, entertainment and broadcast industries. The acquisition of MIJO provides DG FastChannel with a full service operating presence in Canada, and expands its platform to include all of North America, allowing DG to fully distribute its products, including Pathfire, Treehouse and Unicast, into the Canadian market. MIJO Corporation was advised in this acquisition by Fasken Martineau with a team led by Gary Fogler and including, among others, Jennifer Butcher (corporate), Donna Gallant (employment), Douglas New, Tony Baldanza and Huy Do (competition) and Christopher Steeves (tax) and Paul Casuccio (commodity tax).
