Spence Diamonds acquired by Lion Capital and IVEST

The business and assets of Spence Diamonds Ltd. have been acquired by Lion Capital and IVEST. As part of the transaction, the shareholders of Spence Diamond Group will maintain a minority interest in the reconstituted company. Spence Diamonds Ltd., Canada’s premier diamond retailer, was founded in 1978. It operates out of 7 locations across Canada, including Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Toronto. Fasken Martineau was counsel to Spence Diamonds Group, with a team led by Gary Ott and including Allison MacInnis, Lorene Novakowski, Marcus Turner, and Stacy Shields.
