Steve Myles is a member of the litigation and dispute resolution group in the Calgary office. Steve graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. Prior to law school, Steve received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Calgary, where he graduated with Distinction and on the Dean’s List.
While in law school, Steve volunteered as a part-time student caseworker at Downtown Legal Services, a Toronto legal clinic, where he provided legal services to low income individuals. His work at the clinic focused on housing law disputes and included written and oral advocacy before the Landlord and Tenant Board. He also conducted research for the PBSC Union-Side Labour Project, where he analyzed WSIAT decisions to find statistical indications of worker marginalization. Lastly, he completed a semester abroad at the University of Amsterdam where he focused in international and EU law.
Steve’s work experience during law school included two summers at a regional Calgary law firm. Prior to law school, Steve spent over five years in the automotive industry working for two major vehicle manufacturers.
