Summer Lewis is an associate in the Business Law Department, with a focus on technology, privacy, and cybersecurity. She has experience with a range of transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate financings, and share and asset purchases.
Summer graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School where her extra-curricular experiences included working as a Fellow at the Innovation Clinic, managing client files and researching issues related to clients’ business and intellectual property needs. She participated in the LawWithoutWalls program to explore a technology business case with an international team of law students where she and her team won the overall prize with a solution to address bias and inaccuracies with facial recognition technology. In her final year of law school, Summer participated in the Intellectual Property Law and Technology Intensive, working at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
In her spare time, Summer enjoys writing, reading, hiking, and yoga. Summer summered and articled at the firm and was previously seconded to the Canadian Olympic Committee.
