Suzanne Volkow is a paralegal in Fasken's Insolvency and Restructuring Group offering over 20 years' experience in commercial insolvency proceedings, foreclosures, creditor realization and general litigation. Suzanne works directly with clients, court's officers (monitors, receivers, and trustees), counsel for adverse parties and court personnel.
Suzanne's experience includes drafting pleadings and affidavits, as well as forbearance and settlement agreements. Suzanne also assists with security reviews, due diligence searches and Land Title and PPSA registrations. She is responsible for preparing and filing court documents at various levels of court, including the Supreme Court of British Columbia and Court of Appeal of British Columbia, with an emphasis on insolvency matters. Suzanne works with court bailiffs and has experience with pursuing various creditors' remedies under the Court Order Enforcement Act.
