Overview

Tyler is a graduate of the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia.

While in law school, Tyler participated in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition in both the Canadian and International Rounds, being recognized as a top oralist in each. He also interned for judges of the Provincial Court, travelled on circuit court to northern British Columbia, worked as a Research Assistant for Allard's Student Affairs Office, served as a Student Ambassador and as an elected member of the Law Students' Society, led educational workshops with Legal Education Outreach, and provided pro-bono legal representation to underserved clients through the Law Students' Legal Advice Program.

Following his articles, he will commence a judicial clerkship at the Supreme Court of British Columbia.

Outside of work, Tyler enjoys playing hockey, basketball, and volleyball, watching cooking content, and spending time with friends and family.
