Vhari’s practice focuses on commercial litigation and arbitration, with an emphasis on: a) professional and product liability, and b) wills, trust, and estate litigation. She represents engineers, architects, design professionals, directors and officers in defending errors and omissions claims, often in connection with disputes related to large infrastructure and residential projects.
Vhari takes a practical, efficiency-minded approach to litigation and dispute resolution. She has experience before the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta, the Provincial Court of Alberta, and the Alberta Securities Commission.
Vhari initially worked in Fasken’s London, England office in securities law and corporate governance. She worked primarily with resource companies involved in multi-jurisdictional transactions. Before that, Vhari clerked at the Alberta Court of Appeal and articled at another national law firm in Calgary.
While in law school, Vhari founded and served as editor-in-chief of the law student newspaper Moot Times.
