Overview

Benjamin Gross is a partner in the Corporate/Commercial group in our Montréal office. In this role, he advises a wide range of clients on commercial, real estate and financing transactions, including the drafting of complex documents related to PPP contracts or international and cross-border transactions.

With over 25 years of experience, Benjamin’s practice focuses on financing, real estate, and mergers and acquisitions, often involving bankruptcy and insolvency, aviation and the Consumer Protection Act.

Benjamin’s extensive experience has been repeatedly recognized as a leading practitioner by the prestigious Lexpert and Best Lawyers in Canada directories in the areas of equipment/lease financing (including aircraft), asset-based financing, mining law, project finance law and infrastructure project law.

An excellent negotiator, his in-depth knowledge of the workings of financial institutions and financing companies makes him a sought-after legal advisor for his strategic talents and his ability to anticipate the unexpected.

Prior to joining Fasken, Benjamin was a partner in a national Canadian law firm.
