Claire Kusy is a translator-revisor in our Montréal office. She is also a lawyer, historian, educator and fine craftsperson.
Claire has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since 1998. She practised in the areas of intellectual property, particularly in cinema and television. Passionate about culture and art, she holds a Master’s in history from Paris I-Panthéon-Sorbonne, summa cum laude, and was the executive director of the Centre des métiers du cuir de Montréal for 10 years.
She has chosen to switch from one form of fine craftmanship to another, from art to translation, which she has been practising since her law studies at the Université de Montréal. She joined Fasken’s translation and revision team in 2021. She is presently completing her translation certificate at McGill University.
