Claudia Schneidman is a lawyer in our Corporate/Commercial group at Fasken at the Montréal office. Her practice covers all aspects of business law, including mergers and acquisitions.
As part of her practice, Claudia is called upon to work on the purchase and sale of businesses and corporate reorganizations. She is regularly involved in major interprovincial and international issues in both French and English.
Her career path has been marked by enriching experiences through opportunities such as her finance internships at the Société Générale and at the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec. These opportunities have allowed her to develop an in-depth understanding of financial issues related to corporate transactions. To hone her finance skills to better meet the needs of her clients, Claudia obtained a Master’s of Management in Finance from McGill University. During her studies at McGill, she was elected president of her Master’s class and worked as an analyst at the university’s student-run investment fund, Desautels Capital Management. These academic and professional experiences have deepened her knowledge of the financial aspects of mergers and acquisitions, reinforcing her ability to navigate the complexities of these transactions and to identify the specific financial requirements of her clients.
