Dierk Ullrich is a corporate Partner in Vancouver, where he assists privately-held businesses, not-for-profit entities, financial and educational institutions on mergers and acquisitions, financings, and general commercial matters. Dierk uses his in-depth experience to also advise clients on regulatory and compliance matters regarding consumer protection, financial services and payday loans, mortgage brokerage, and liquor licensing.
With considerable experience in the new BC Societies Act and the Canadian not-for-profit legislation, Dierk also regularly advises societies, charities and not-for-profits in Canada on a variety of governance and compliance matters. He also assists foreign businesses with their operations and distribution networks in Canada.
Prior to practicing corporate and business law, Dierk was a member our Vancouver litigation team representing telecommunications, transportation, technology and education sector clients on matters relating to competition law, real estate, business practices, administrative and constitutional law.
