Overview

Overseas investment by Korean organizations has grown dramatically in recent years. Private companies and state-owned enterprises (SOEs) have scored major investment successes in a range of sectors. With extensive expertise in outbound investment and a full understanding of Korean culture, our lawyers provide sound and comprehensive advice. 

The firm’s Korea Practice Group advises many of Korea’s top industrial chaebols, SOEs, government agencies, and private-sector and lending institutions.

Assisting Korean clients with investments throughout the world, our expertise covers mining and natural resources; oil & gas (conventional and shale gas); and alternative energy (biofuel, wind and solar). The Korea group also advises on investments in engineering and construction, public-private partnership (PPP) infrastructure, technology and software, media and entertainment, gaming, banking and financing, and real estate. In accommodating the preferences of our clients, we are able to deliver legal services in the Korean language.
