Fasken’s Tax Group invites you to join us as we explore recent legislative and international proposals addressing tax challenges relating to the digitalization of the economy. The discussion will include a review of the OECD/G20 Inclusive Framework, including the recent OECD Model Rules on Pillar Two (minimum tax) and the expected OECD Model Rules on Pillar One (new international tax nexus rules). Canada’s proposed Digital Services Tax will also be discussed, with a focus on the key elements of the proposed legislation and the contingent application of this domestic tax.
