Governments around the world have been struggling to determine how best to tax e-commerce transactions for nearly two decades.

In the past five years, many countries have finally designed and implemented broad changes to existing value added and sales tax regimes, as well as new forms of digital services and platform taxation. The Global Legal Customs Association (GLCA) is proud to bring together this panel of four leading Tax lawyers from Canada, China, Germany and Switzerland to discuss some of the key changes that have occurred and that should be understood by any company conducting e-commerce sales into Canada, China, Switzerland and EU.
