Overview

Having a good understanding of the regulatory framework governing the award and execution of public contracts is essential for any company operating in this market.

In this training, our team will review the first anniversary of the entry into force of Bill 12, as well as the amendments made to the Act respecting the awarding and execution of public contracts and the Act respecting the Autorité des marchés publics.

Our speakers will provide an overview of the recent changes in public contracts, particularly with regard to contracting authorizations and integrity requirements applicable to companies. We will also discuss the increased surveillance and investigation powers of the Autorité des marchés publics in its mission to ensure the integrity of public markets in Quebec, as well as the consequences of non-compliance with the applicable regulatory framework.
