Overview

This conference and documentation are only available in French.

Many companies are considering implementing a program to promote equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in their workplace. Others have already adopted EDI initiatives and are in the process of implementing them. The purpose of this conference is to provide areas of consideration to human resources specialists and business leaders in order to balance the company’s strategic objectives with legal requirements.

Together, our Labour and Employment lawyers and our experienced guest speaker will provide participants insights on best practices and EDI strategies with regard to legal risk management.

Our lawyers will review various pieces of legislation and regulation that can make your EDI journey more complex at both the federal and provincial levels: Employment Equity Act, Charter of human rights and freedoms (Québec), Canadian Human Rights Act, Act respecting equal access to employment in public bodies, etc.
