Overview

Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) principles and EDI initiatives require careful planning, continuous reflection, and strategic advice. Please join us on February 24, to learn more about how to navigate the EDI journey within your organization.

Research has shown that diverse and inclusive workplaces earn higher revenues, drive more innovation, and have better employee recruitment and retention results. Statistics also demonstrate that Canada’s population is changing, and that younger workers consider EDI at work to be of central importance.

In this webinar, we will discuss the economics of EDI, review EDI terminology, and address issues such as micro-aggressions, tokenism, implicit and unconscious bias, systemic discrimination, etc. We will also discuss the importance of using a trauma informed approach and review notable cases dealing with harassment and discrimination, including misgendering and deadnaming.

Our objective will be to provide participants with key EDI competency and knowledge to ensure participants have the necessary knowledge to move forward in this ever-changing landscape. As such, we hope participants will be better equipped to help their organizations ensure legal compliance and mitigate potential risks, but also drive positive change and foster a truly diverse and inclusive workplace.
