Gabrielle Goodfellow is a lawyer within our environmental law group in Montreal.
Her practice primarily focuses on environmental law, Indigenous law, and energy law, and also extends to lobbying law and advisory services related to ESG performance, including federal rules on greenwashing and modern slavery in supply chains.
She draws on a previous career in corporate social responsibility and the management of environmental and social impacts for clients in the energy, mining, and transportation sectors. Gabrielle assists her clients in complying with environmental regulations at both the provincial and federal levels and participates in drafting and negotiating various collaboration agreements between project developers and affected Indigenous communities. She also engages in transactions by conducting due diligence related to environmental, energy, and Indigenous risks.
Gabrielle holds a bachelor's degree from Yale University, a LL.M. in public international law from the University of Kent in England, and an MBA from Concordia University.
During her law studies, Gabrielle was the recipient of the Lord Reading Law Society Student Award as well as the UQAM Award of Excellence. Additionally, during the summer of 2022, she supported the legal affairs team at Groupe Lune Rouge as a legal intern.
