Overview

Gillian maintains a broad labour, employment, and human rights practice. She regularly advises provincial and federal sector employers on matters related to employment standards, employment related litigation, grievance arbitration, labour relations and human rights.

Gillian has represented clients in different matters of labour and employment adjudication, including employment standards complaints, labour arbitrations, employment litigation, and human rights applications.

Prior to law school, Gillian earned a Master of Arts in Globalization Studies from McMaster University as well as an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Childhood and Social Institutions from the University of Western Ontario where she was awarded the King’s University College Board of Director’s Gold Medal, awarded to the student graduating with the highest standing in the final year of study.

Gillian summered at the Firm in 2015 and was seconded to The Hospital for Sick Children. She articled with the Firm in 2016-2017 and joined the Firm as an Associate in 2017.
