Overview

Henrick Simard is a partner of the Corporate/Commercial group at the Québec City office. He practises primarily in the area of mergers and acquisitions and corporate financing.

Henrick advises and represents clients in matters related to financing, investment, private equity and venture capital. Henrick has extensive experience in private equity, having contributed to the creation of a number of investment funds and represented both companies and investors in connection with private equity and venture capital transactions.


Over the years, Henrick has acquired an in-depth understanding of the issues related to structures and transactional processes. This allows him to guide businesses during their development and growth.


Henrick is actively involved in both the business and Québec City communities. He sits on the Board of Directors of the Fondation de l'Institut Universitaire de Cardiologie et de Pneumologie de Québec and is President of the Festival d'Été International de Québec.


Before joining Fasken, Henrick served as Vice-President, Legal and Corporate Affairs at a large holding company. He also practised business law at a major international law firm.
