Overview

Henry Gray is an associate in Fasken's Ottawa office who practices in the areas of Government Relations, Foreign Investment, and Political Law.

Drawing on his background advising federal and Ontario ministers, Henry helps major domestic and foreign corporations develop and execute strategies to overcome challenges and capitalize on opportunities linked to government decisions on a diverse range of policy matters, including taxation and finance, international trade, and economic development.

Henry regularly advises on notifications, national security reviews, and other matters under the Investment Canada Act, as well as compliance with lobbying, gifts and hospitality, public-sector ethics, procurement integrity, and conflict-of-interest laws.

Henry has counselled individuals and companies facing government investigations, including investigations conducted by the Office of the Integrity Commissioner of Ontario (OICO) and the Special Investigation and Internal Directorate (SIID) of Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC).

Henry also has experience assisting clients with general corporate/commercial matters and has worked on corporate transactions such as reorganizations, asset purchases, and share purchases.

Fluently bilingual, Henry serves his clients in English and French.

Henry summered and articled with the firm before joining as an Associate in 2023.
