Overview

Julia Rushton is a partner in the Environmental practice group in the Johannesburg office of Fasken. She has experience in both commercial law and litigation and completed a masters degree in environmental law at the University of Cape Town in 2019.

As a member of the Environmental practice group, Julia assists clients with environmental due diligence investigations, environmental and regulatory administrative appeals and judicial reviews, opinion drafting, advice on environmental compliance with all environmental legislation and licences, advice on environmental legal requirements and compliance pertaining to the renewable energy, mining, petrochemical and other industries.
