Laura Fabi is a lawyer within the Corporate/Commercial group at the Montréal office. She has extensive experience in securities, corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions of public and private companies.
As part of her practice, Laura assists clients with a variety of complex local and cross-border transactions and represents private and public companies of various sizes, brokers and institutional investors. Laura has worked with Canadian and African businesses, more specifically on matters relating to the Organization for the Harmonization of Business Law in Africa (OHADA), of all sizes, both SMEs and large corporations, in achieving their business objectives.
Laura is also involved as a member of the Emerging Leaders Circle of Nature Conservancy of Canada, a private non-profit organization and Canada’s leader in land conservation.
Laura joined Fasken in 2021 after completing her master’s degree in Corporate and Commercial Law at Queen Mary’s University of London with a final thesis on the commercialization of space resource exploitation.
