Lucky Johal is an associate in the Real Estate Law practice group. He advises clients on a broad range of real estate matters, including acquisitions and dispositions, financings, commercial leasing (including retail, office and industrial) and joint ventures. Lucky also advises clients on a wide-range of corporate matters including the purchase and sale of businesses, business entity formations, reorganization and restructuring of private companies and various types of commercial agreements.
Prior to joining Fasken, Lucky practised in the Real Estate, Corporate/Commercial and Company Mergers & Acquisitions groups for a large regional firm in Vancouver.
Before law school, Lucky worked with an accounting firm for several years dealing with businesses in a broad range of industries and was a top-ranking sales associate with a national retailer. These experiences supplement Lucky’s legal practice by giving him a unique perspective for the inner workings of businesses and an appreciation that client service should always remain a top priority.
When not in the office, Lucky enjoys playing sports: primarily basketball and his recent venture into squash.
