Montreal (Canada) – Fasken welcomes Marie-Claude Marcil who joined the Tax group as partner at our Montreal office. Marie-Claude brings extensive tax litigation experience, with a focus on income and indirect tax litigation. She was previously a partner at one of the “Big Four” global accounting firms.
Marie-Claude represents clients before the Tax Court of Canada, the Federal Court, the Federal Court of Appeal, and the Quebec Superior Court. She is an active member of the tax community, having published numerous articles and spoken at conferences. She is also an active member of the Fiscal and Financial Planning Association, secretary of the Tax Litigation group at The Advocates’ Society, and a member of the Tax Litigation sub-committee of the Canadian Tax Foundation.

A member of the Quebec Bar since 2008, Marie-Claude holds a post-graduate diploma in Tax from HEC Montréal.
