Sarah Thériault is a paralegal and joined Fasken in Québec City in September 2015, then moved to the Montréal office in December 2015 after she received her diploma of college studies in Paralegal Technology from Collège Bart. While at college, she was nominated in all her courses for academic excellence, received the Gaucher Tabet scholarship and was also a member of the Collège Bart Sponsorship Committee in 2013 and 2014.
Ms. Thériault is part of Fasken’s Business Law group in Montréal. Her duties include, in conjunction with the firm’s lawyers and senior paralegals, drafting closing documents related to various transactions, including incorporations, organizations, acquisitions, articles of amendments, mergers, reorganizations, dissolutions, continuances, revivals and other share-related transactions. She reviews minute books, conducts due diligence corporate searches in the different public registers and prepares reports summarizing the results. She registers extra-provincial corporations, files annual declarations and is responsible for incorporating and organizing corporations in the Start-Up program.
