Hazens Investment completes US$ 96 million acquisition of the Sheraton Gateway LAX

In November 2013, Hazens Investment, LLC completed the purchase of the 800 room 15-storey Sheraton Gateway Los Angeles Hotel next to the Los Angeles International Airport for approximately US$ 96 million. It is the first major overseas acquisition for the Hazens Group, based in Shenzhen, China. The acquisition was led by the Canadian management team of Hazens Group in Vancouver. Hazens Investment was advised by Fasken Martineau with a team led by Edmond Luke and working with a local law firm in Los Angeles.
