On January 20, 2015, the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta, granted a receivership order against Calmena Energy Services Inc. (“Calmena”) on the application of its major secured creditor, HSBC, which was owed approximately $30 million.
The ongoing receivership involves the cross-border publicly traded oil service company’s $100 million debt and assets in Canada, USA, Mexico, South America and Africa.
