AltaLink in Alberta Court of Appeal regarding approval of an electric transmission project

A landowner group sought permission to appeal in the Alberta Court of Appeal from a decision of the Alberta Utilities Commission approving an electric transmission project. The group claimed that the Commission’s process had not met procedural fairness requirements. The Court of Appeal denied permission to appeal. Matthew Ghikas and Hannah Roskey were members of the Fasken Martineau team that were counsel to the successful respondent, AltaLink.
