We represented one of six family members that inherited and liquidated the succession. Relations between the liquidators were not easy and deteriorated when our client decided to oppose the other liquidators during the sale of the last building. After two Superior court decisions and one Court of Appeal decision, the parties were to return before the Superior Court to submit arguments on the succession’s paying our client’s fees. During a settlement conference, the parties managed to find a solution to end the dispute and prevent it from continuing indefinitely. We advised our client throughout this procedure and then prepared a written agreement that reflected the agreed settlement.
