On January 23, 2019, Héroux-Devtek Inc. completed the acquisition of 60% of the shares of Tekalia Aeronautik (2010) Inc., a supplier of surface treatment services to the aerospace sector.
Héroux-Devtek is an international company specializing in the design, development, manufacture, repair and overhaul of aircraft landing gear, hydraulic and electromechanical flight control actuators, custom ball screws and fracture-critical components for the Aerospace market. It is the third largest landing gear company worldwide, supplying both the commercial and defence sectors.
The acquisition of Tekalia will allow Héroux-Devtek to further secure surface treatment capacity to support its North American customers’ growth.
