The Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario dismissed, on a summary basis, an application alleging discrimination in service on the basis of disability and failure to accommodate. The respondents were represented by Bonny Mak, who persuaded the Tribunal that the application had no reasonable prospect of success and in any event should be dismissed pursuant to the doctrine of absolute privilege.
