Since June 2020, Fasken represents a bearing manufacturer against a claim for damages related to alleged defects from an original equipment manufacturer of farming equipment.

The Plaintiff  had purchased the bearings to integrate them in equipments used to mow blueberry fields. Even though the price paid by the Plaintiff for the bearings was relatively low, it claims close to C$1M on the basis that events surrounding the alleged defects negatively impacted its sales for three years.

A Fasken team composed of Sébastien Richemont and Nicolas-Karl Perrault represents the bearing manufacturer in connection with this case.
