On January 20, 2021, BMO Capital Markets announced that they have conducted, as sole underwriter, the closing of an oversubscribed bought deal public offering of C$ 17 million for Nouveau Monde Graphite, a company developing the only fully integrated source of green battery anode material in the Western World. This transaction is part of a previously announced C$ 20 million financing.
The net proceeds of this public offering will be mainly used for the Bécancour graphite project development, the Matawinie mine and concentrator detailed engineering.
