On April 9, 2021, a syndicate of underwriters led by BMO Capital Markets and Raymond James Ltd. completed a C$61 million bought deal financing for Ascot Resources Ltd., a development-stage gold company developing the Premier gold mine in BC's Golden Triangle.
Fasken advised the syndicate of underwriters on securities and tax matters with a team led by Richard Steinberg and Myroslav Chwaluk, and which included Allison Marks, George Soules, Alexis Shamess (Securities), and Christopher Steeves and Kathryn Walker (Tax).
