On May 26, 2021,  eSSENTIAL Accessibility secured a nearly C$67 million (US$55 million) investment from New York base investor KKR, as it looks to scale its accessibility solution.

eSSENTIAL Accessibility is a Toronto based software company that provides companies with a complete platform of technology capabilities, subject matter experts, legal guidance and training and much more.
 
Fasken acted as Canadian legal counsel for eSSENTIAL Accessibility, with a team led by Will Shaw, Dawei Ding, Laura Fetter, John Beardwood (Privacy, CASL) and Mitchell Thaw (Tax).
