Our team, led by Sébastien Richemont and Noah Boudreau, acts on behalf of Air Canada in a proposed class action on behalf of Air Canada retirees alleging erosion of their seniority and benefits acquired as employees in the allocation of certain flight passes.
The proposed action alleges that Air Canada committed various breaches of implied contractual obligations, made certain alleged misrepresentations and committed violations of the Quebec Charter.
The request for authorization of the class action was dismissed by judgment dated July 22, 2021. The Applicant still has the right to appeal this decision.
