On March 10, 2022, BeTheSomm Inc. ("Somm") announced that it had completed the acquisition of DINR Inc., a Canadian reservation management platform, in a move to diversify and expand Somm's lifestyle and hospitality offerings.
Somm operates a lifestyle app that puts a sommelier in the user's pocket and offers benefits across the food, beverage, and hospitality worlds. As part of the acquisition, co-founders and key members of the management team of DINR Inc. will continue to work with Somm to develop and expand the company's product offerings.
Fasken advised Somm with a team comprised of Daniel Fuke and Alec McIlwraith-Black.
