Overview

Client

Revera Long Term Care Inc. (operating as Mackenzie Place)

Revera Long Term Care Inc. (operating as Mackenzie Place) ("Revera") successfully defended against a grievance, whereby the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), Local 2381 alleged that a non-disciplinary termination pursuant to Revera's attendance management policy (“AMP”) was unreasonable.

The Arbitrator determined that Revera's decision to terminate the individual, pursuant to the AMP, was reasonable.

Erin Porter represented Revera with respect to this grievance arbitration.
