Fasken advised and assisted a North American energy company in preparing and filing an application for the remission of anti-dumping duties valued at approximately $2 million CAD for two of its natural gas pipeline projects. These duties resulted from determinations of dumping made by the Canada Border Services Agency in 2016 concerning certain welded large diameter carbon and alloy steel line pipes originating in or exported from China and Japan.
