Overview

Wojtek is a partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity and Private Client Services Groups. His practice focuses on business law, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings and reorganizations.  Wojtek has extensive experience working with public and private clients on numerous acquisitions and dispositions, cross border transactions, partnership and joint ventures and the procurement, sale and distribution of a variety of products and services.

Wojtek represents leading insurance, food, retail, health and manufacturing businesses in Canada, as well as provides counsel to private entrepreneurs and private family offices. He works with a number of growing companies and has advised them on financings, acquisitions, dispositions, and growth capital transactions.

Wojtek regularly advises insurance brokerages and agencies and has significant experience with insurance brokerage acquisitions and dispositions.

He also has extensive experience working with family held businesses, advising them on succession planning, governance, growth strategies, reorganizations and liquidity events.

Wojtek speaks French and Polish and works with Polish clients seeking to do business in Canada. He is also a Member of the Canadian Bar Association and Ontario Bar Association, and is a member of the editorial board of the Business Law Reports.
