Zhuo Er Jia is a lawyer in our Tax group at the Montréal office. Her practice encompasses all aspects of tax law, including income tax and commodity tax.
Zhuo Er advises Canadian and foreign businesses on a variety of tax issues in the course of their operations, whether in transactions or in disputes with federal and provincial tax authorities. She is involved in mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, real estate transactions, and regularly assists employers with their tax obligations, particularly in a cross-border context.
Zhuo Er’s practice also focuses on commodity tax issues, including the goods and services/harmonized sales tax (GST/HST) and the Québec sales tax (QST), as well as customs considerations.
Zhuo Er holds a bachelor's degree in law from the University of Montréal (Dean’s List) and is currently completing the comprehensive In-Depth Tax Program with CPA Canada.
