Sandile Tom is a Partner in Fasken’s Johannesburg office and is part of the Firm’s Labour, Employment & Human Rights Practice Group.
He advises clients on all aspects of employment law, government procurement, municipal legislation, CCMA arbitration, Labour Court reviews, and High Court litigation.
Sandile’s practice includes drafting of pleadings, providing legal opinions and memoranda to clients, appearances at the High Court with counsel, personal court appearances as counsel at the Labour Court and Labour Appeal Court, and appearance at the Constitutional Court with counsel. In addition, Sandile has a depth of experience in advising clients on litigation concerning B-BBEE employee share incentive schemes; and drafting Employment Equity Plans and advising clients on these documents in terms of legislation; and conducting investigations.
He regularly conducts training on various pertinent labour law updates.
Sandile holds an LLB and an LLM (Decentralisation and Public Governance) from the University of the Western Cape, South Africa.
